It has to be the classical music. It is the most experessive of all. Research studies have shown that classical music has a possitive effect even on the psychology of the animals. It's the music for the mind and the soul. To listen to jazz music is of a personal matter. I don't think that is that expressive as it can effect only certain individuals that like this style. Finally pop is a commercial style of music entertainment but according to my opinion nothing more than that. The style is repetitive, boring and it may be expressive only to young people that don't know anything about music.

Jazz is, by far, the most expressive. Most jazz is totally spontaneous. All the members of the band are constantly improvising and creating spontaneous art. Jazz IS expression. The expression is what makes jazz what it is. It's freedom of expression. The extreme is avante guarde jazz (although not always entertaining).

Classical is stale, stiff music. Classical is best expressed through the composing. The composer does have an expressive role. After the piece is written, then the song is performed the same exact way it was composed, every time. The musicians are just very skilled pawns with no personal expression. Classical music is indicative of its time. It's as if the composer is the upper class and the musicians work for the composer.

In jazz, the songs are basically composed on the spot, and all the musicians are equal, sharing and giving, and supporting each other as they create their art.

Pop is just a joke.

PS-If there were studies done on jazz, the results would be very similar, (or any other style of choice songs).

If it has to be one of those three, then jazz, because they are really into the music.

If it can be another genre, the by far I say the Blues. It doesn't get any more expressive than that. They are always so completely into the music when they play, that you could slap them in the face, and they would never know it. It is just a soulful style of music.
