"On January 17, 2007, Reilly announced Heroes had been picked up for a second season." from wikipedia.com
"We have the first season mapped out in detail. Less so in the second season, but we have talked about where the show goes up to five seasons. That being said, I have learned that you really have to be open to letting a show take you where it wants to go. It is a living, breathing organism and it will speak to you if you listen." - thats from the creator Tim Kring (http://blogs.nbcuni.com/heroes/2006/09/how_many_seasonsscripts_are_pl.php)
they only have it mapped out thru five seasons but they are only renewed for a second season
im sure they will make it to five or more, its a great show :)

Thats concerning to the stupidest question ive ever heard. Why in the international would they enable a cultural phenom like Hero's get away. they are going to ring that funds cow for each penny they might. And via the way, its SEASON a million nonetheless, fool. Hiatus is basically that, A HIATUS. They try this so the practice will primarly seem throughout sweeps in October, Feburary and would (would being the main mandatory sweeps, thats whilst the season finale is).

It's been such a huge success that NBC will find a way to have a second season. No worries. Gotta love little Hiro last night.

From what I hear they are already in the works for several seasons YAY
To Tommy: PLEASE see about watching it on http://www.nbc.com/heroes or downloading it somewhere, "filling you in" is totally taking away from the excellent episodes, filling in the details will not do it justice.
