I am in very serious financial problem. Some guy introduced me to herbalife. I have decided to give it a go. My sponsor advised me that it only costs £75 to start the business and then there is nothing else to pay. He said I don't have to stock the products, so don't need to buy them first and then try to sell them. Do you have any information on the hidden costs? Is it like if I try really hard and smart, I can make money out of this business? Or if I have to spend money on the products first, and then sell it, which is not an option for my poor financial situation.
Do you know anything about this business and the costs?

I sold Herbalife years ago. If you're in that much trouble financially, I would advise you to go get a job at a fast food place or something until you get on your feet....not try to sell this or any other product.

My experience was that they tell you all of these great things to get you in, but who is really that successful at it?

I sold some product, but what happens when you have to refund the money to the customer because they aren't satisfied? You're out the money!

This is a weightloss product, but your customer won't be satisfied if they're still eating a box of doughnuts a day.

Trust me.....don't sell anything like this. When you're in precarious financial situation isn't the time to take a gamble and go in to business for yourself. It's putting all your eggs in one basket.

Better to get a job, do the work, and at the end of the day, the money is yours.

Don't do it. I have a friend who does it. If you are in a serious financial problem, don't do it. Your sponsor will tell you whatever b/c he/she is making money off of you as well.

Unless you know a ton of people who will buy these products, don't buy it. You will end up buying these products and getting stuck with them. If you don't believe me, put in any search engine, HERBALIFE and you'll see how many things pop up. Besides the fact that its hard to sell, there is so many people selling it.

Is not a good business at all. I lived in the US and many people sell Herbalife so it's difficult to find custumers. Beside, the product itself is not very effective. People don't buy products that are expensive and give not good results.

I am sorry I don't know anything about this company but any person who asks you to pay £75 for nothing -it is not covering the cost of stock, so what is it for? - seems a bit dodgy to me. I would research both the product and the company if I were you otherwise you might be trying to sell some dodgy product which is nothing but a con. It is very easy to get into something like this when you are desperate for money but it rarely works out to your advantage.

Do NOT do it. My Mom had a horrible experience and it drained them financially.

don't do it; work two jobs, cut your expenses to the bone and you can climb out of your financial hole, slowly, steadily, but surely.
