it is b'coz we think that way,we should always stand forward as what we are.Its ur life,u live the way u won't to if someone doesn't respect for what u are then he/she doesn't deserves to be respected,if someone hurts ur self respect,u better warn him/her.People value for show off b'coz their minds are corrupted,show off never helps a human to reach his goals b'coz he/she becomes so much used to show off that he/she is ready to ruin his/her life at any cost just for the sake of show off

maybe reason for this is that humans have lost the values which makes them real human. now human just go for looks, money but they never look for heart. and secondly there are very few real good people on earth. so how can you expect such people to value heart. i think show off doesnt have realtion with human values......even lord krsna used to show off jewellaries, he used to make up but he was a kind, hearty and great superhuman.......so if person is really good from heart people will only go after his behaviour and not what he shows off......that depends on each and everyone of us. all i want say is that if you or anyone else is 100% real good natured and true person, he/she one day when the time will come,will definately get deserving thing that is respect..............and love

Wrong!!! Your values are more important than what you show off. but if you keep showing off for a while and later reveal your real colours, people around would definitely look down upon you for your cheap tricks.
It's all about how you value yourself. A person showing off just suggests that he himself doesn't consider his values. So why would people consider his values, specially after his colours are revealed?

There is a profound value for what (and who) we are. There's only material value for showing off. Live out your life as who you are to the core, true to yourself to the very depths of your soul- THAT'S value.. As opposed to showing off- that's what I like to call nonsense and insecurity.

one cannot 'show off' in ur words or project himself in my words if he hasnt got anything if they have something tht this world can appreciate then they need to project themselves to be recognised by the soceity for what they r
