I always play a random assortment of ear-tabbed stuff so I can't honestly give you an answer because every time I play it's different.

Here's an example of what I would play from songs that other people do know:

"Come As You Are" by Nirvana
"The Star Spangled Banner"
"The Godfather" theme
"Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd
"Hypnotize" by System of a Down
"Us and Them" by Pink Floyd
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow"

I also have my own little jam sessions and other various ear-tabbed stuff that I don't know who performs it. It's always interesting what I'll come up with.

I would actually play three songs:

Long Train Running by the Doobie Brothers - To warm up, and get my fingers moving.

Cold Shot by Stevie Ray Vaughan - I always noodle around on this song just for the fun of it.

Voodoo Chile by Hendrix or Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd - Start to finish on both of them. Which one I would play would depend on my mood. Both of them have some incredible guitar picking, from the controlled feedback in voodoo chile to the slide work and ending of freebird.
