my m8 said she is low on her confidence she worries about what people will think of her etc i want to try and help her get more confidence or do somthing anyway any ideas

Depends on her age range I guess. Commendable that you want to help her out though! Are you sure you guys are just friends?! *j/k*
Well; if she is a good friend then you know what her likes/dislikes are. If it's an *ugly duckling* thing (outward appearance); then take her shopping, allow her to focus on the positive points about her and her body; but not forgetting that at the end of the day - she could wear a binbag and still look beautiful! *COS WE ALL ARE*
However, if it's something that perhaps she has picked up from people or learned/changed her behaviour through the actions/comments of someone else; then you need to get her to talk with someone. If someone has made her feel negative about herself - then that has to get dealt with - nipped in the bud!
Most importantly though - confidence cannot really be taught - the only person who can help her, is herself! She can be her own personal best/worst critic!

I used to be like that, maybe a change oof image is in order-when I changed my image and started takin care how I looked the confidence just poured out of me!
It sounds really shallow but it really is amazin how a few compliments make you feel special.
A hair cut, couple of new pairs of jeans or trousers coupke of new tops-it really will work!!!

tell her she looks beautiful everday....it works, and fast too!! also make sure shes involved with others friends and group activities like bowling or paintball and have FUN!!
