I've found this word in several Victorian era novels. Apparently it refers to some sort of sexual act, but I've never found a clear definition.

GAMAHUCH A 19th century term referring to licking a young girl's ***** without inserting the tongue inside. Alt. def. is to perform oral sex.

No idea but the phrase 'tipping the velvet' was an euphenism for female cunnilingus.
