It is also written somewhere in the Bible in the book of Proverbs not sure of the chapter. But I don't like it too since the smell of it is bad and you will end up with blood all over and stained sheets. It is only a matter of 3-6 days not the whole month so why not wait for the last day of your periods. It is bad I can't even think of doing it.

Its not bad in any way physically, in fact supposed to be good, reduces cramping, so they say, its more looked down on due to the "gross" factor. I personally don't go there but its an individual choice I guess :o/
