for me cheap is not bad as long as it conforms with the quality I want. I would rather buy a cheap product use it and after i'm bored with it i'll buy again a new one. In that case the product i'm using is always new rather than buying an expensive one and be using it the rest of your life.

no.. not everybody's that cheap. Most people settle for cheap if the counterpart is waay expensive. Everything still depends on the person deciding. What's cheap if the merchandise is compromised?

personally, i have never bought something that i don't like, regardless of the price. All i need to do is fall in-love with what i see, and even if it's 5 Php or 5,000 Php, i buy it.

There are cheap things that are also good in quality and the expensiveness of a product is not an assurance of quality. Sometimes, it is the brand that we are paying extra, and not the quality. Let me state an example. We make good quality shoes in Marikina and it is much cheaper than shoes with known brands. So if I were to choose, I would much prefer the cheaper but quality product over the more expensive one. Maybe these people who prefer cheap products are not ''cheap" as you thought, but they are just smart shoppers.

Not all cheap items are of poor quality just as not all expensive items are of good quality.
More often than not you are paying for the brand logo while the same un-branded item is made in the same factory at a much lower price. So go figure.

Expensive doesn't always equals to quality. And cheap doesn't always equals to poor quality. It's a smart buy when you can find something cheap yet high quality. I bet you, I'm a smart buyer. Hehehe. My friends are always surprised with the goods I'm buying - quality yet affordable.

everybody wants to save as much money as possible so if the cheap thing is just as good as the expensive one, then you might as well go with the cheap one

I don't settle for cheap as you are not sure on it's quality so it's better to buy expensive BUT WORTH IT.

John, this is a third world country where money is really hard to come by. Be open-minded about it; perhaps you are not short on cash, but for everyone else, a peso saved is always helpful.
