youre not exactly being specific.. This isn't an American sport where its obvious what league youre talking and what not...
If you said what baseball team wonthe finals, it would be the Cardinals. If you said what basketball team won the finals, it would be the Heat. If you said what American football team won the finals, it would be the Colts. Soccer you could be talking about the World Cup, the EPL, the La Liga, the Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, FA, etc.. Its a little more complex.
