If we keep trying to capture and kill criminals, won't they fight to the Death? Wouldn't it be better to ask them to cease from conflict and make amends?

Justice often doesn't mean punishment, one good turn deserves another.
Criminal Justice is often wrongly called justice. The victims rarely get compensation, therefore the result is not justice.

Asking criminals to cease would probably have little if any effect.

But it could be more justifiable, where possible for the criminal to make amends to the victim, and that could be rewarding for them both.

Well, I've read a book titled Animal Farm and if you read it, you'll be likely to find that many of the authorities nowadays take law into their own hands -- to punish the innocent people and other human being.


Criminal justice isn't always necessarily means punishment. However, most of the time, it is.

Justice is fairness. A part of fairness is presuming innocence until proven guilty.

The punishment should be fair also, but should the fairness be directed only at the criminal or the victim also?

we can't make them do what we want them to do for we ourselves is the main reason why they ended up doing such things. They're environment lead them to do so.

I dont believe that justice is fair for ive already encountered a prisoner that had recieved no justice at all.

he killed one of the the killer of his father and the other killers are still wandering freely.

is justice fair? i think it is not and it will not until there's a triangle among us people

Try asking a terrorrist to stop bombing people.people who live by the sword should die by the sword thats justice.

I think that the punishment should fit the crime. Most of the time it doesn't..
