I'm a near sighted, 14-year-old girl, I have this glasses which I think does'nt really fit. I wear this only when I read or try to see something cause it really embarass me especially in the classroom. I feel that really look like a geek and I hate that! I think it sort a affected my eyesight when I always take it off and put it back. I want to have the right glasses that I would not be ashamed to wear even infront of a million people. I want to know the appropriate size, color, and shape of it. I kind a hav a round, chubby face, with a shoulder-level hair(which I tie most of the time) and I'm a 93-lbs.-girl(if that could help).

The very best thing to do is to try on a bunch of glasses. Or look at some stars who wear glasses, find some you like.

Personally I think glasses that don't stand out are best. I tried on dark frames and larger frames and super small frames, but they all screamed GLASSES!!!! So I suggest thinner wire frames in a passive color. But that's best on me.

When you do go to choose some frames, wear something you usually wear. I wore a tshirt, because if they looked good with me in an old t then I was set. It's easy to look better in say, a turtleneck. If that makes any sense.

Good luck, and just try on a bunch. Get opinions from adults, not just kids. Kids often say something looks good because they like the frames, not necessarily the frames on YOU. kwim?

I love chicks in glasses
Get glasses that match your hair and eyes. Get them so they don't cover your eyebrows.
