It's some peoples belief, but it's not a fact to anyone.

I pointed out to a member of the clergy that IF everybody was given a new body on a re-made earth in the next life, that it would have to be a pretty big earth. He responded that yes, it would have to be pretty big.
I also asked whether we would know everything, or whether there would be things we didn't know, hence we would again start trying to find out (science, research, tower of Babel, big bang theory), his answer on this was not clear.
I ask these questions knowing I will never get a satisfactory answer, but it puzzles me how some people are so sure, yet cannot answer any of the specifics. I suppose it's called faith.
The real answer is that it doesn't matter what really happens after death, perhaps whatever explanations have been given are put out there as a tool for social control.
However I like to believe that if I could prove to you that when we die that's the end, nothing more, gone; that you would not change and become an axe murderer because there are no afterlife repercussions.
I believe that we all know we should live our life in the fairest and most considerate way we can, individuals differ, but in general we know we all should be good.
Knowing that you can never know, is it good that you waste efforts worrying about the details of the afterlife?
Follow your conscience, it will tell you right from wrong.
When you die, you will find out then. Do you really need an afterlife to motivate you, isn't saying "I made a few mistakes, but I tried to do my best" enough for you?

When you die your body does not leave earth, it's either buried so that it breaks down into basic chemical form as nutrients for plant and animal life. Or! you are cremated and burnt and the ashes are either scattered by your next of kin and the remainder is taken down to the tip by the company that runs the crematorium! Now your soul! I have no idea what happens there I'm afraid! I would like to think you get a new body, but I'd worry in case it turned out to be the body of a cockroach or a snake! Very worrying isn't it?

no body can prove that u either will or won't. People believe that they have visions from a past life, and nobody can really dispute whether or not it is real. All i know is that i would like to think that there is something more than eternal darkness waiting for me when i die and if the only way for that is reincarnation... bring it on!

Know body really knows what happens. what ur talkin about is in Reincarnation in Buddism. if you have a good life then you come back as something better, but if u have a worse life, you will come back as a lower form untill you reach the top (kind of like a heaven)

Why would you want to come back to this hell-hole in space! I believe that we are in hell already. Think about it. When people imagine hell doesn't it have murdering, starving cannibalistic creatures, doing the bidding of the devil, slaving hard over work that gets you nowhere. I think that when we die, depending on our choices in life God will either grant us permission to enter heaven or send us back to earth to suffer on this godforsaken planet.

Sweetheart,
Do not worry about such things at your young age.Think about today and be happy with here and now.
That being said, From the scientific prospective you are currently living in a dimension of a reality that our senses can observe. When we no longer are alive as we know it we pass into an alternative reality. We go through a metamorphosis( just like the Caterpillar to a Butterfly) and our new world appears to us. Only recently are we able to use examples that the masses can understand. This dimension is like that of hertz or call it radio waves, we can't see them, taste them, touch them, smell them or hear them (without a radio) so how do we know it exists. this dimension is only brought to ours with a receiver. Prayer and Meditation are the receivers we use to communicate with the place (dimension) we transform to after death. The vehicle we use in the journey is called our soul. Psychics use meditation to touch this dimension and religions Prayer.
Feel safe tonight, your future is just that. Today your here, alive and well, go live your life and he happy.

You were confused when you asked the question - how about now?! God is love and doesn't want us to be confused, worried, anxious. For this one have a look at Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27.

Frankly i find it hard to believe. If you really think about it millions of people have died all over the world, the streets should be full-up with ghost people, dogs, horses you name it. Why does only a few show up. I do not believe it:))

No one can prove it one way or another.
You want a definitive answer, but the answer is simply not provable. Its like asking 'is there a god' No one knows.
You have the right to believe in anything you want, but once something becomes 'provable' it stops being a belief.
