There was no word like hate in Gandhiji's Dictionary. He neither hated sawarkar, subhash nor the britishers. It's the way of working which was different. Subhashji, Sawarkar, Bhagatsingh, Azad were great people who sactified their lives for nation. Their names will be remembered along with Gandhiji. If gandhiji was fond of name and fame, he would have become the first prime minister of india. But he was a simple man. His ways of protest ware different and he got sucess using his ways. Right from 1847 to 1947 many people died fighting against the english, but none of them can unite indians. Gandhiji united the indian.
Yet, I should say, the type of independence he thought about, is not today. If he himself would have been alived, should have said that "The british rule was must better than this independence".

I don't know if Gandhiji hated them or not, it is sure that he did not like both the person. It was not only because of clash of ideologies. Subhas Bose initially followed his ideology but even then he was not very kind towards him. He did not like him being elected the President of Congress Party. This hatered or rather disliking is because of clash of personality or ego. He was also apprehensive because Subhas Bose was fast becoming popular and was over shadowing J. L. Nehru. Subhas Bose was proving to be a hindrance in running the Congress as one man show by Gandhiji. Gandhiji was also not pleased with the aggressiveness and assertiveness of Subhas Bose.
As far as Savarkar is concerned, they never shared same ideology and this was probably the reason.

No,not actually for that reason.Gandhiji believed fully in non-violence.Subhash bose also initially supported him but when mahatma did not take the the advantage of the britishers during the world war,Subhash thought that gandhiji is not taking the right steps. Therefore he withdrew from him.AS both have different principles they remained away from each other. The same is with sawarkar who did not hed to gandhiji's call.
Gandhiji did not hate Subhash by the way ,He only did/nt want him to be the president of the congress party due to his agressive nature. But in one way Subhash was also right and gandhij's principle paid i India's delay in getting independence.

Mahatma Gandhi never hated Sawarkar, Subhash Chandra Bose or any other person. He opposed their violent way to achieve freedom for India. Mahatma is right in his approach. Because British Empire is extended to the length and breadth that they can see sun rise some where in their Kingdom. In telugu, British Empire is called " Ravi asthaminchani British Samrajyam" ( A vast kingdom, where sun never sets). They had trained band of Army, Naval and Air Force. India is still lacking. Mahatma knew that Indians can't win them by war. So he invented Satyagraha and Ahimsa to disturb their mind set to win them psychologically. He had won. He proved right.

That's crap. he respected them as patriots. It's jsut that he didn't agree to their policy of violence.
Remeber the 1857 uprising. The revolt was violent. But who suffered at the end. Thousands of Indians wer homeless, thousands of families lost there hopes. that uprising was actually a lesson the violence jsut brings in destruction. gandhiji's policy of non-violence was better. It brought the picture of inhumane treatment of the british in front of the world. He demarked their image throughout the globe with his fundamental.
Subhashchandra and Savarkar wanted to throw back the British during World War II with the help of Japan. Gandhiji believed that it may drive British away but it would bring in domination of another firegn country in India. So he decided to agree to British terms with the World War, but he also made them offer a few rights to the Indians. finally, in the year 1947, it was Gandhiji who emerged victorious, but Jinnah foiled his dream. The country was liberated at the cost of partition.
Plz don't post questions based on assumptions...

Well he did not hate them, but was more concerned about the well being of Neheru. He wanted Neheru as the PM of free India. He also did the same treatment with Vallabhbhai Patel and Jinnah. Jinnah was the man whom the congress wanted to be the PM of free India.

Gandhi did not hate. He just expressed his disagreement, surely he could do that. He was a pacifist and apposed all forms of violence, verbal or physical.
