I write articles on Graphic Design, aimed at Graphic Design students, and I'm stuck on what to write about this week. Is there anyone that can suggest a subject on graphic design that would be interesting?

How about artists Keith Haring, Andy Warhol or Basquiat? Revitalize the new with the older influences.

The cheapest, best quality art programs (and how to get them on a budget) would probably get a lot of interest and articles on tools like Wacom's graphics tablets would also be popular, I'd think.

Interviews with both big-time and small-town graphic designers might be good...

One of the things I wasn't entirely prepared for when I started my graphics job was how to design CDs for genres I had zero experience or interest in. A few paragraphs on how to pick out key aspects of a band's style would have been helpful to me then. Or how to communicate with clients over the phone or during an interview (and of course, the non-designer Boss who wants you to make it ~POP~ but can't explain what he's looking for ^_^)!

Links to sites with great, downloadable graphics (free-use or otherwise) would be invaluble to newbie designers too.

Hope that's helpful!

Making filters or brushes and how to get the best use out of them, Composition, Shadow and light is always good but under used in lots of cases. Exploring color and design. There is so much. Do you have a website?

Yes, I would like to read inspiring stories about freelance Designers who are successful. I would like to see examples of their work and hear their business practices and what they think makes them successful.
