For me, if the inappropriate behavior was just directed to me,
I would take the coworker aside, very privately, and mention how,
"I feel, I could be wrong, but I really do feel there is a problem between us, if I have done anything to offend you, I'd like to clear it up"???? then say nothing, let them fill in the gaps.
Generally that will take care of it, and all will be well. Unless you
really have done something in error. Then take care of it and end it. Peace at work is worth alot.
good luck

It depends is he rude and pushy directly to you or not. If not just keep clear and don't talk to him. If he is tell your other coworkers about your problem and hav them tell him in quiet afterwords that you are misinterpreting his communication, or something like that.

go to Human resource dept. or to the supervisor If there is none just talk to him in private and offer a solution to the problem, instead of just pointing it out.
If this don't work check if anybody is having the same problems as you, and then talk to him and let him know that your are not the only one having trouble with his behavior.
