For written english, we never use the words BUT, SO, BECAUSE, AND at the start of a sentence. If you're being informal (eg a letter) it's ok, but otherwise, you should always try to avoid using those words as the first word of ur sentence.

The first one isn't right but the second and third look right. Just take out "when" in that first sentence.
