Sex is not necessarily a low priority for women, in fact some women actually love it so much that the guys are complaining about getting too much too often.
However in the cases where you seem to think sex is a low priority, you also need to look at what might be going on in their lives that takes up so much of their attention: work, kids, pets, cooking, finances, medical bills etc etc etc. These things can all take a toll on a woman in general.
Also, what men commonly seem to forget is that sex is absolutely a desire with women, whereas its a physical need and necessity for men. We do not have bodies that produce in excess of 3 million sperm per day that constantly needs to be expelled in order for the body to produce more. We are born with all the egg cells we will ever need.

They can and they do. Men can too, but it's much more rare to see a male going sexless than a woman.
There is a sliding scale of how much attention, romance, etc. you have to show various women in order to fire something off in their heads about sex. If a woman finds you exciting, you don't have to do much.
Other women, it takes an all weekend tactical assault to even get her to start thinking about beginning to be somewhat at the start of being in the mood for sex. And even then if the phone rings or you say one word wrong or the temperature drops half a degree or you are touching them and "don't- that tickles" comes out when it isn't supposed to or they stop to ask you about paying the gas bill because they just aren't into you or sex and then they are completely derailed and you're sh*t out of luck - again.
I am of the opinion that when a guy has to do back handsprings, light 743 candles, spend *hours* complimenting a woman not spontaneously but in a s s -kissing kind of way, then she's playing head games and is using her p*ssy as a weapon and there's a deeper darker issue that should be confronted.
It should be that a guy thinks about a woman throughout the day and when they are apart and he lets he know and surprises her with flowers now and then and takes her out slow dancing and does nice things, but not in a "dance faster, no, i said faster, cabana boy and i might decide to give you a whiff of wonderful me" way.
Women know they control sex pretty much and of course some of them abuse that power. If your girl does that she is a scheming shrewish b*tch and you should dump her and move on.
Because there are *plenty* of women who enjoy sex, and there are also plenty of women where the skill of the lover is not the reason, the lack of romance is not the reason -- they just have low sex drives and there is no way on earth you are going to change that. Better you know now than after you eat wedding cake with her. Which is what happens to lots of guys.

Anyone can live without sex. It is not like water and oxygen. It is not necessary to survive.
I think about it several times a day! But I guess it is a lower priority than other more important things in life like health and wealth. I guess I weigh it out like "Am I willing to risk getting a sexually transmitted disease or getting pregnant for these few minutes of passion?" Being promiscuous also cheapens the idea of intimacy that you want to share with someone special. And that is so much better than just 'sex.'
P.S. There are other ways.

I could live without sex but I don't want to thanks very much.
If a woman can live easily without sex & she's married or with a b/f then something is seriously wrong within the relationship....or else the guys just a boring bed mate....excitement is what we all need.
No! I'd hate to live without sex for the rest of my life....I couldn't do it....

Everyone CAN live without sex, but I certainly would not want to live without sex! Why would I do such a thing? I love sex! It's certainly not top priority, but it's no where near the bottom of the list either.

I think that most women live without sex because us guys are so bad at it. If I had life to do all over again I'd spend more time satisfying my partner and let myself "finish" last. As a [pig] guy, all I wanted to do was "wiggle my bean" without realizing that the woman needed more! I'm so sorry ladies! Really, I am.

They CAN live without sex, but why would they???? Its the feeling they go after that is the big difference between men and women and sex issues.... we love the feeling that leads to sex...you guys love the sex....that leads to sex...feeling is another issue....Who is right???? Who cares ??

Women can live without sex only if men are not romantic enough. Sex starts in the morning or anytime and finish in the bedroom. Man has to speak love words to his wife and that will trigger desire for sex or for her to be in his arms and before you know it she is give it all.

It has been said that women can be "Sex Camels" - with the ability to go long stretches without sex.
Men can't compete with that.
