Two years ago i recieved help from the heat assistance program. my power bill was taken care of. No sooner than when my daughters and myself walk in the door? My power was shut off? I called power comp. Only to be told i had a bill 4 $1,900.00 and no service until ALLPAID IN FULL?? Even having kids in the home under ten,even having my Handicaped Daughter! Then i am told NOWAY will theyEVER have service for me until it is paid. I tryed to offer them $300.00,and still was turned down. So my friends have put it in there names over the last two yrs. Still living in the same Apt, four days ago i found out power comp,has been harassing my manager,asking Q:if i live there. So the power comp came and shut us down.!! But now they want $2,000.00 Or NOTHING!! Then i just recieved a 3day moveout notice for being a nucince?? All over power comp calling managers?Because i have payed my $700.00 a mo,on time for 3 yrs now!HELPneed 2 move looking 4 a home 3bdrm/or4 my one daughter is due in 2mo. thnku

Something Fishy about this.. $1900 how could this be?
Try to get some advise from a Attorney...I do not think you can be asked to move because of your trouble with Power Co..............

I think that is just ridiculous, the power company always shuts off our power if we are even close to $200.00 ... I think people should call and make a complaint, and help this family! Having a handicap ed person in your home makes that a totally Illegal action. I hope more people Read this Question and help this family, especially threw these cold cold nights. They should at least have made some kind of payment arrangements it is to darn chilly outside!! My prayers go out to this family..

good luck with your apt hunt, don't mention your outstanding power bill though.
