Does anyone know the representation of the movie My Fair Lady. My son needs to know for his report. He doesn't understand it at all he's leaving the end of this year and need to get it in by next thursday. I know it's cheating but he really needs help.

That question must have been taken out of context since it makes no sense right now.
Ask your son to cross check with others to see if he understood the whole background for that question!

The representation of what? The movie? The character? The Saying?

That question makes no sense. It is vague and without context.

Have him write a summary of teh entire play and leave it at that. The significance of the play depends entirely on what prespective you are posing and in what context you are examining this play.

And as a parent you should sit down and watch it with him. If you are willing to let him cheat you ought to be willing to do the cheating for him.

Great movie, great musical numbers too! Are you referring to the differences in the classes of English society? Eliza Doolittle is a young girl from the wrong side of the tracks, in England, she is considered cockney, whereas Henry Higgins is from the upper crusty side of society, and he makes a bet with one of his associates that he can bring a lady such as Eliza from the gutter refine her to the point that people in his circle won't detect she is not one of them...great movie, you should see it!
