There are a number of horse breeds that can have a cream coat:

Albino/Cremello: There is no true Albino in the horse but Cremellos have often been referred to as Albinos in the past. The body, mane and tail of a Cremellow horse is extremely pale, and can range from almost white to a pale cream. The skin is pale and so they can be particularly prone to sunburn during the summer months. The eyes are blue.

Dun: The body is creamy golden although it may vary from very pale to a rich creamy gold. The mane and tail are black and there is a black line running down the back.

Palomino: The body is golden although the shade can vary from very pale golden to a rich golden. The mane and tail are white.

there is different names for different shades of horses especially when it comes to 'cream' colours. A cremello is a horse that is a very very light shade of cream, it normally has blue eyes (hence why its often refered to as an albino) and the mane and tail are the same colour as the body.

A buckskin horse is a horse with an orangy yellow coat with black stockings and black mane and tail. ( like that cartoon horse of that movie spirit.. he he so cute =D)

A dun horse is similar to a buckskin but has whats called a 'dorsal stripe' which is a stripe from the withers to the dock which is normally dark in colour and may have other qualities that make it appear more like an orginial 'wild horse'.

A palomino is commonly referred to as a cream horse but to be palomino it must have a white or slivery mane and tail.

i hope that helps =]

If by cream you mean a pale toffee colour and if the horse has a lighter mane and tail then it is a Palomino. If you mean white then they are known as Greys.

OK people, a gray horse is NOT NOT NOT tan, cream or beige. It is GRAY or WHITE (a true white horse is rare and has pink skin) but not beige cream or tan!!

BUCKSKIN: tan or beige or cream body with black points (legs, mane and tail).
DUN: Same as buckskin, with dorsal stripe.
RED DUN: A diluted reddish cream with darker points and a dorsal stripe.
YELLOW DUN: A yellowish golden body color with darker points and a dorsal stripe.
PALOMINO: Three shades drker or lighter than a newly minted gold coin (body color) with white mane and tail, possibly white leg and facial markings.
CREMELLO: Cream colored all over, light color.
PERLINO: Almost white with darker cream mane and tail.

Depends on what colour its tail is. If the tail and mane are white and the body is a sort of creamy orangy, then it's a palamino, or if they are black with the same colour body, it's a dun. If it's cream, as in nearly white, all over then it's a grey.

Albino is an absence of colour, cream is a variety of the red gene (chestnut).
Colours include red, palamino, cremello, champagne, perlino. White is caused by a different set of genes and is referred to as grey.
