I often get those little tickets in the middle of magazines or through the post that 'guarantee' you one of the following prizes etc etc. there is a number to call which is a few quid a minute! Has anyone actually won anything decent from these?

No you get the electrical item(small) that you have to foward p/p first , or the 1wks holiday (you go when they say , pay taxes etc , and its only for one person!!! you end up sharring a room if you do not pay a supliment??)

These are toll numbers, they tend to keep you on the line for a long time, and then you tend to get the smallest prize possible. Several states attorney general offices have cracked down on these "so called sweepstakes."

The call can cost up to £10.00 and generally you can bet that if the lowest prise is vouchers that's what you get. You only have to be conned a couple of times before when you see them you automatically throw them in the bin

Its just a con so DON'T fall for it!!!! Its a premium rate number and the chances of getting a "major" prize is worse than winning the lottery!!! My wife once spent £20 and got a pen you can get for a fiver !!

My daughter has won tickets for the Ferry to cross over to France, three times. But remember you pay so much for the phone-calls you make it is not worth it. I throw them where they belong in file 13.

youre clearly smart enough to realise this but...

they wouldnt give prizes to everyone that are worth the same or more than the amount you spend-theyre not a charity(and even then a charity card is not a charity for you lol)

No - they are not worth entering. The probability of winning anything, more valuable than your phone call costs you, is extremely low.

My Advice - don't bother.
