Now that I got your attention, ¿what do you guys think about legitimizing marijuana in the 50 united states? Kind of like a; no asky no telly, type of policy. Dealers will still get locked up, but average Joes who just want to smoke a j in the comfort of their own home will NOT be prosecuted. ¿What do you guys think?

To the third person, yes people will STILL leave their house stoned. But no asky, no telly. Just like society before the last gentlemen died, it is nobody´s business; as long as the person can walk straight and buy food properly.

YES, YES YES all over the world.
Stop those BASTARD friends of politicians. Stop the drug barons, make them poor, make them stop creating and using racial tension to make themselves rich.
Put drugs where they belong in the hands of doctors. So my doctor can prescribe heroin to a cancer patient who has only weeks to live, prescribe marijuana to a woman who has been beaten so she can cook her children's tea and eat some of it herself despite her bruises.
Drug prohibition began because of racism.
The U.S.A. wanted to hurt Chinese trade so they stopped all opium products(heroin etc)
The U.S.A. wanted to stop freed slaves making money by selling hemp and marijuana products.
It's still racist.
Politicians use it to spend money on drug campaigns instead of spending it on education.
I'm 61 yrs.
The Australian Medical Association says exactly what I have written about putting drugs into medical hands.

I think it should be legalized completely. There is no legitimate reason to make illegal in the first place. The negative side effects that it has are far less than most of these new drugs put out on the american public every year.

I'm fully in support of it. Fewer prisoners = more money for other things; taxing it in stores would mean millions of dollars per year; other crimes, like assault, would go down, because people would be able to get it in a secure environment (like a Wal-Mart).

If you meant simply not arresting people for it, a lot of places are putting marijuana as the lowest police priority.

I'm all for legalization of pot. I'd tax it to reduce the deficit, and to use the proceeds for law enforcement. I would have identical penalties as use of alcohol, such as driving or public intoxication. With every freedom, comes responsibility.
