advantages is you get better food and single cell vitamins ( Suplements ) by Spirulina sp. yoghurt, soyghurt, cheese, alcohol,and many other. Biotechnology make bacterias dissolve metals or dangerous chemicals. But its disadvantages that the bacteria colud alter the ecosistem and damage the food chain.

it may become a curse if there is no follow up and good research with several laboratory experiments on lab animals

it is a blessing.. how can technology be a curse....you get new things for the better..it improves our life... creates new jobs... improves our food.. maybe it's unnatural but I dont think God would be mad at us for improving things on earth...
