What can we do to save the African continent?

Africa and Africans are good in many respects. That is quite visible in Botswana. We have to make the goodness in some Africans as a common trait. The only way to practice this is by adopting eugenic policies. This method is applicable for all countries. Let us first try it in Africa on a large scale by giving wide publicity and propaganda. Details of the eugenic programme is given below:-

NEOGENICS (EUGENICS?) IN A NUT- SHELL

WHAT IS NEOGENICS?
It is human genetics applied to alleviate human sufferings and to improve the human gene pool. With this we copy nature’s own reproductive plan (differential fertility). Major social problems like crime, poverty and illness are partly genetic and the remedy should also be genetic. So think genetically and act genetically. Good genetic endowment is the best asset to attain prosperity and except human beings all other living creatures survive and progress in this way.

WHAT CAN WE ACHIEVE?
1. Neogenics bridges the genetic gap in certain superior traits existing between the elite and the average. It compensates the selective migration of superior genetic stock from the poor to the rich, from the rural to the urban areas and from the underdeveloped to the developed nations.
2. Biological socialism leads to economic socialism. All attempts made so far to achieve economic socialism by imposing Marxism/communism have not achieved the desired goal. Capitalist countries witnessed considerable economic progress but failed miserably in equitable distribution of wealth. Biological socialism is the only hope to bridge the gap in wealth between the rich and the poor in a democratic way.
3. Neogenics helps increase the number of good minds and to reduce crime, corruption, cruelty etc. Attempts to transform society through moral preaching have not yielded any lasting results. Genetic transformation of the society will assure lasting peace and harmony. Repeated studies of twins have proved again and again the genetic basis of intelligence and behavior.
4. Racial mingling through neogenics will put an end to violence created on racial grounds.
5. By reducing the incidence of genetically transferable diseases (most diseases have a genetic base), great improvement in health can be achieved and thereby considerable reduction in medical expenditure.
6. Increasing the intelligence and EQ of the common man according to the needs of a civilized and technologically advanced society. The benefits of ascending EQ & IQ in a population are rather beyond our imagination.
8. Neogenics is the only method now available to correct genetic disorders in order to protect the right of the unborn. A child has a legal right to begin life with a sound mind and a sound body.
All these will reduce human suffering and place the human race on an evolutionary track as nature has been doing for the last several millions of years. It may be noted that we are the only species capable of directing our evolution in a manner that suits our wisdom leading to the betterment of our less fortunate fellow citizens and the species as a whole.
HOW TO ACHIEVE (ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS GIVING FULL RESPECT TO FREE WILL?
1. Encourage the production of more children among the healthy and the gifted couples.
2. Discourage the reproduction of the habitual criminals, mentally challenged and the sick.
3. Start sperm/egg banks of selected donors of better EQ and IQ for the benefit of the infertile couples (10 to 12 per cent of the population) and for those daring couples who want to bring about improvement of the genetic stock of their future generations.
4. Popularize genetic screening and genetic counseling to prevent genetically transmitted diseases
All the above steps may be needed till the advancement of genetic engineering reaches a level that enables genetic transformation of a society or individual through gene therapy, cloning or other means yet to be discovered or envisaged.

The real answer is to build large, indoor, climate controlled, genetically modified vegetable farms. This way we can grow the food we need to feed everyone, no matter what the climate decides to do with itself. Climate change is a reality that our species has had to deal with several times during our time here. Our growing population makes us have to adapt in ways our ancestors didn't have to. Whether we contributed to the climate change or not is not as important as what we can do to survive. Adapt or die, the Law of the Jungle. Indoor farms could even become the proto-types for colonies on space bodies that don't have any kind of weather at all, but that's all in the future. The climate is going to change and even more people will die unless we find a way to make sure everyone has food regardless of how much rain falls, or the average global temperature or any of that. It's really nice that Bill Gates spends a lot of money on helping with Malaria, but I would feel better if he spent that money on making sure everyone got food no matter what the weather decided to do this or that decade.

African to be saved from what?you paint very bad image of African when most of you have never set foot in Africa.You only rely on your one sided press which will blame the whole Africa for the problems happening in one corner of Africa.Africa is very comfortable and has problems normal as in any other continent.No decays as found in the developed world where societies have left traditional values to encourage same sex marriages and many other evil deeds.Tell your countries to stop exploiting Africa by colluding with corrupt leaders to take out resources.Africa developed developed countries and it is your turn to reciprocate.

The continent isn't going any where. The problem is ignorance, poverty, lack of education, greed,want and power mad leaders that only think of them selves. Educate, educate, educate!
We have to get rid of the tribal loyalties and the only way we can do that is by education.
Get the United Nations involved in countries which are war torn much earlier. Do what we can to promote democracy. Real democracy, not the Robert Mugabe type.

Stop interfering.
Many of the negative aspects in africa have come as a result of interferance from countries (and organisations) outside of the continent.

I am talking about political and economic influence.
For example supporting corrupt leaders to guarantee that they accept overseas loans at inflated rates for cash crops for which the market rate of sale is determined by companies outside of the continent.

(Lend them money to let them think that a large loan will be good for economic development and then pull the rug from under them by offering less money than originally promised for the crops & goods that they produce).This makes debt repayments impossible to further loans are offered (at higher rates) to pay off the original loans.

America (and the west generally) has been acting as loan sharks to Africa for decades with the poor and dying people as the victims.
When they default on their loans America takes essential raw materials as collateral so the country has even less currency to feed or educate its population.

America and many other countries have ensured that African nations have been heavily indebted to them for decades.
Many former colonial powers (and some new ones) each have had a slice of their cake in Africa, such as US, Britain, France,Portugal , the Former Soviets and now the newer emerging economies such as China.

What many countries in africa need is development in education and sustainable projects to ensure that people are not reliant on handouts.

One important area which sadly still exists in many areas is slavery. Mauritania for example has hundreds of thousands of bred slaves within its borders. It is a sovereign state so the UN can do nothing.

It is my opinion that any state which continues to allow slavery should face UN military intervention in the same way as if it had invaded a neighbour state and made slaves of its citizens.
Most would agree that slavery is a vile practice and that there is no excuse in the modern world for this.

In adition I think that there should be a continent wide charter to protect and encourage the rights of children so that all children have access (funds permiting) to education to the age of 16 at least and not force them to work.
The convention on Human Rights should protect Africans but this is not enforced widely.

Much could be done to make Africa a single market a bit like the Euro zone, it however could never unite poltically like the USA as its countries are too diverse.

The west would do well to stop selling arms/munitions to africa which help corrupt and oppressive dictators to survive.
The countries making the arms sales tend to be the same ones to which which Africa is financially indebted.

Israel for example ensured the survival of the aphartied regime in South Africa for decades by supplying the white government with Intelligence ,security services and weapons , aircraft and an unlimited supply of (mostly American manufactured) munitions
including prohibited weapons of torture.

We tend to support dictatorships in countries where our corporations have interests in drilling for oil , mining for raw materials or growing /trading crops.
It is the economic might of these western corporations which really have the most influence and they continue to excert some influence on our own governments to maintain this sorry situation.
No one would say that a Mugabe type government is the best solution but I think that we should encourage democracy and even(dare I say it) socialist governments which would more evenly distribute the wealth and (possibly) even re-nationalise the industries such as oil and other raw materials. In this way the wealth of the countries would benefit their citizens rather than western stockholders with no interest in the wellbeing of African citizens.

To the Idiots who said in answer to this question that nothing should be done to help the "blacks". They would do well to remember that Africa is the birthplace of Humankind, where it all started and, if its inhabitants did not reach out to travel to Europe or Asia, then none of us outside of Africa would exist today.

We owe our very existence to the continent of Africa and I do not believe that Africa is afforded the respect or assistance that Africa deserves, especially in its time of need.

Teach the people accept no aid from rich countries
