I would use a towel to dry with. Dead skin, smell build up on the towel and you wash it.

Bathrobes are meant to cover you, not for drying. THey stay clean this way and do not need to be washed.

A bathrobe can be used for absorbing water after a shower or if you were in the pool or something, but it can also be used for comfort.

yes it can be or use a towel first and wrap in robe for comfort and as anything wash when needed.
