The only way to fix it properly is to remove the dash and have it re-skinned by a motor trimmer. I have had this done to my 1978 model car. Alternatively, replace it with a good one from a wrecker. If they are on the top part of the dask, it may be simpler to cover it with a dash mat.

get a new dashboard

then keep it 'moisturized' like your hands - but with
automotive creams - so it won't crack again

or cover it it with a rug (ugh - maybe not) or some nice cloth?
