Go to Baden Baden and visit the spa - choose clothed or not depending on how brave you are! My husband and I had a fabulous couple of days there, ate huge quantities of great food and sampled cakes that were much better than the ubiquitous gateau. People are very friendly and appreciate an attempt at the language - don't forget to reply "Gruss Gott" when someone says it to you. It's the universal greeting in Southern Germany and Austria!

A lot of pretty villiages and hamlets,medicinal springs, and a lot of vineyards.
A very colorful place, with a primeval forest, measuring 160 kmts by 60 kmts. With peaks some 1400 meters high.
Try some Black Forest cake...in name only.

And also there are some fantastic lakes in the forest. dont miss them!
