1) 1/2 * base * height
2) width * length
3) width * length (but width and length are the same)
4) 1/2 * base * height * depth
5) width * length * depth
6) width * length * depth (again.. width and length should be the same)

1> area of a triangle -
lets assume the triangle has sides named A, B and C; and their length a, b and c
Also, assume the angle between side A and B is O
Now the formula goes like, (1/2).a.b.Sin(O), now if O = 90 degree,
Sin(O) = 1, so it becomes, (1/2).a.b
2> area of a rectangle
Lets say the side length of the rectangle are a,b,a,b
So the area is a.b
3> area of a square
The sides are a,a,a,a
So the area is square(a)
4> volume of a triangle
5> volume of a rectangle
6> volume of a square
Triangle, Rectangle and Square - all are of two dimension. So, this is invalid to ask the volume. Only there is area.
that's all guys thank you - you welcome.

1/2 base times height = triangle
length times width = rectangle
square = rectangle
volume of triangle = triangle area
volume of rectangle = area rectangle
volume of square - same as area square

area of triangle= 1/2 ( base * height)
area of rectangle:= length * breadth
area of square= side*side
the other three questions are ridiculous
triangle, rectangle, square are 2D ,they dont have volume. they only have area.
