Going by the previous world cup records, it should be an opener or an all rounder. Since India does not have any good all rounder and Pathan's form is poor so it should be
Sourav Ganguly.
He is playing well. Most consistent in the last 2 series had a wonderful world cup record and wants to make his last WC a memorable one.
For Sachin, I am not sure how much he can influence a game;s result in the middle order.
Sourav is my bet.

my guess It would be team performance ...anyways if i had to pick a player...i would put my money on sachin..simply coz he knows the art of making runs in world-cup, and also he has won many matches for india in the world-cups..so its sachiiiiiiiiiin sachin.

Hey...you have missed 'Virender Sehwag'.....He would be the best because he was the only person to score better in West Indian pitches...I hope he would be the 'man of the series' too......
