The fundamental issue is the question of Israel's existence as a legitimate state its dispute with Palestine and the occupation of disputed lands (West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem). In addition to the differences between the Torah and the Koran and Christianity and Islam.

There's a lot of history to this question, more than I can quote you here, but basically when a territory has been conquered by Islam, it is always considered to be Islamic territory, even if it is taken over by someone else (Spain, India, and Palestine are three examples). Jews consider it their land because of the promise God made to Abraham in Genesis ("I give you this land to you and your decendants..... I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you"). Muslims consider it Muslim territory that is being occupied by infidels, and Jews still consider it their "Promised Land". To be honest with you, I don't know what the real solution to this problem will ever be - but that's why it drags on and on without end.....

Rod, The peoples of that part of the world take there religions very seriously and are willing to kill each other over it. Here in the states in a more open and tolerant nation this is an alien concept. Don't sweat it in twenty years there won't be any one left in the middle east to kill each other as the rate of attrition escalates...

god has his chosen people
but they all ways follow faulse gods
the last faulse gods were roman gods
thus god destroyed and scattered his people
kicked them from the garden
for ye shall have no god before god
not money nor gold
in time they found god got a return of the home land via lobby to britan who had by then colenised palistein ,they have been there for 2000 years ,there were also many jews they all lived in peace then the euro jews came settled in the holy land zion was declared 28 may 1948 they claimed its return and god smiled on his people once more but then came the faulse god of land
all land belongs to god ,but did they thank god teach about the loving god obey the sabbat give glory to god
no they made faulse gods [again] how does it end ask my brothers
some try [neo cons /messianics]to bring on the faulse god satan of revelations and anilations or others to plant the lampstand of the bush of freedom
we stand at the time men to choose satan [ie evil ] or god of love in the feast of the sabbat
and jubilee ,that god has promised his chosen people
the peace that brings the king of peace via the east gate
if i err may god have mercy on my soul
but know god has grace
love
all love
in time they shall tell of gods greatness ,of faith needing no faulse gods ,heeding not men but the one god of peace love and plenty alone and forever
but men must of freewill return to god that of god alone
of free will accept love
