The best one day cricket match to me was the match between Australia and South Africa played at New Wanderers Stadium,
Johannesburg on 17the March, 2006 as it was a battle between two of the strong ODI Team in the world ranked at No. 1 and No. 2 and winning the match by chasing the highest score set in the ODI history till then.

Please check the following link for the score card of that match:

The best odi cricket match is the one between Australia and South Africa in which autralia scored 432 in 50 overs and south africa beat the aussies by scoring 435 in 50 overs. In that match world record of highest one day score was made by australia and in the same south africa broke that record making 435. Ricky Pointing scored 169 and Harshall Gibbs scored 175. They both were chosen for the man of the match but Pointing appreciated the Gibbs batting and hand over the award to him.

With regard to highest score and nearly impossible target put up by Aussies at final South Africa beat them by scoring 435 run a record in many respect in one dayer. However in my opinion 1975 world cup final still trills me and It was a Die hard efforts of West Indies and they beat Aussies by 17 runs. Against the Superb Quality bowling's of Lilies,Thompson and Glamours they scored 291 runs for 8 and when at one time they were 4 down for 41 runs on the Board. Clive had some different ideas and he went on to scored 102 run and Kanai 55 runs out of Total 291 which Aussies could not Hit the target and they Lost due to superb fielding and Boyce's super spell which is why I would still ranked it very High. Both the teams have worked in a Teamwork and given the BEST for cricket.

South Africa vs Australia
South Africa gunning an impossible target on the last ball and challenging the mighty aussies which triggered their collapse to second position in Odi table since its implementation in 2002. Gibbs, Ponting, Mark Boucher stood out.
I love Mark Boucher for his cool on the final ball. Instead of taking a quick single as the aussies and the world expected, he lofted the ball in the air, giving him enough time to complete his half century.

There were many records made in the records too, and a lot of sympathy for the bowlers who made it look like they were newcomers to the batsmens game.

The match played during 2003 world cup between India and Pakistan.....India had a comfortable win though Sachin missed his century in short of 2 runs & was injured too....
This was really thrilling chasing a total of 270+..
India have not lost any world cup match against Pakistan...I hope this would continue even this time...!!

South vs Australia, 2006, 438 runs victory for S.A.
What a match, no one knew until the last ball who would win!
In the end S.A. came out victorious against the toughest team in the world. They made history that day and I have no doubt that S.A. can beat Australia anytime.
