These days if you can afford a good down filled pillow don't go hitting someone with it and breaking it open!

1. because b4, pillows were made by stuffing feathers into a cloth sack.

2. On TV it makes this "whirlwind" type of effect

3. Feather pillows are too annoying for me.

Answer, It is set up that way.
Reason. This is TV it must be interesting so the producers go that extra step to make sure it is interesting so you WILL watch. Cause if you don't watch they don't have a show.

I have always wondered this.

Firstly. who has that many feather pillows?

Secondly, why are you hitting the other person so hard that the pillows are breaking open?

I think it's just cause it looks cool and can be used for comic affect.

cos they make a hole on the pillow so the feathers can fly out before the shooting!!
