Because each man is an island unto himself. It is paradoxical - for a gregarious animal like man, there is a core area within where each one hangs a 'No entry' sign. There is only so much that we all are prepared to share with others, not everything, hence our feelings of loneliness. Thankfully, these are fleeting feelings and they pass otherwise it would have been too depressing.

It is more to do with the state of mind. Are you going through a tough time? Maybe you have low self esteem. You need to remember that you are lucky to have friends, and that no matter how many we all have - we all get times when we feel lonely and sometimes that is not always a bad thing. You learn so much about yourself when you are on the lows than you would on the highs of life.

Hi Online, You haven't really found a person who is truly your friend.Maybe you need someone of the opposite sex in your life to fill that lonely feeling. Everyone need companionship of the opposite sex. This is who we are,and how we are made. Find that special one and you won't feel that loneliness. A Friend.

no friend is blindly supportive to you, It happens when you start misusing your friends .
Some time they help , & some time unfortunately all of them withdraw support simultanuously. So that time you feel lonely.
Normally it is your fault.
You have to use your friend in polite & honest way

It only means that you do not have really close and good friend. One such friend will eliminate all loneliness.
