hahaha what a cute question!

I honestly don't know. I ask my 4 year old that exact question whenever she gets food on her face and each time she swears there is nothing on her face... until I make her look in the mirror. She acts all shocked and stuff LOL

I've learned that nothing can ever replace nor compare to that of a life of total oblivion as experienced through the eyes of a child.

Everything is such a new experience for children, that's one reason being around them is so darn fun!!! They just go with the moment with no strings attached and no preconceived notion that they should be embarrassed. My granddaughter hates spilling her drink on herself. If her clothes get wet, she HAS to change. That 3 yr old won't take no for an answer when she is wet.

thats the beauty of being a child !! they dont care bout anythin.... and like u said if they feel it.... they know someone or the other will take care of it for them.........let em enjoy watever they can take for granted till theyre old enough to notice n realise that they have to take care of all of it on their own ....cause that will last for a life time.. they get a few years when theyre babies to enjoy and not give a crap bout the world or the ppl livin in it ........how bout let em have it all then.... without questioning it ?? i think they deserve it.. knowin the world they gonna be growin up into !!id say take care and look after them n pamper em asm uch as u can now.. cause later.. it wont be ur choice !!

At that age children are still learning they are human and not monkeys, they think that by smothering themselves they keep some food for later...it's instinctive, or they might be trying to camouflage themselves...

It is in their nature to be sloppy little vermin's, then they get better until they become teenagers and it starts all over. It is a vicious cycle.

I think the best people to ask would be husbands...you want me to wake mine and ask him, he eats like a piggie. Always handing him a napkin.

When my son was a toddler, he used to play in his poopy pants. If they didn't bother him, what's a little crud on your face?
