I could've gotten only half an hours sleep the night before but for some reason I can't fall asleep until it's like 6 am. How can I manage to fall asleep without bonking myself on the head with a clown hammer?

Well I would tell you but then I'd have to kill you. No seriously, I suffer from insomnia too and I wish I could help. I know one thing though if you don't fall asleep until 6 am don't sleep all through the day. Take a short nap like 2 hours. Also that night go to sleep at around 11 pm or as soon as you're tired (but not too early or you'll wake up at like 3 am and start the awful cycle over again). But anyways I hope you get some helpful answers, I'll be checking them ;)

SLEEP IS THE BEST CURE
Keep away from caffeine i.e. coke and coffee, don't eat a big heavy meal late at night and do some hard exercise prior to going to bed.
