All the links that I find in a search are too technical, and it is for a 7 year old. Is there a site that would be more suitable. The topic is winter.

How about a collage of all things you associate with winter - scarves, hats, snowmen, snowflakes, Christmas etc?

You could write a short page about where winter fits in with the four seasons and what it means - hibernation, cold, snow etc.

You could also include some poems about winter or he/she could write a poem (with your help!) about what winter means to him or her. A good idea would be to do an acrostic. Basically you'd write W I N T E R each on a separate line down the page the write a line about winter starting with each letter.

So for example:

Winter outside is windy, cold, and blustery
Inside our house it's cosy and warm
Now is the time the leaves fall from the trees
The birds fly away to somewhere warm
Even the furry creatures hide and hibernate until they are
Ready for the return of spring

Here's a page with some other Winter acrostics by other school children to give you inspiration

(Ok so not great but done in seconds and hopefully you get the idea!).

The key is to think about what exactly the teacher is assessing with this project. Is it Literacy? Or Art? Or a combination? Or is it just helping your child get to grips with being resourceful and collating information? Perhaps they want to get parents involved more? Possibly a number of things.

If you combine a few pages with the above and any other ideas that spring to mind you should be fine and it shouldn't take too long. You can make the collage online by copying pictures from websites and pasting them into a paint jpeg. Then print it at home or at the local library.

Have you tried your local library? There are plenty of books which should be suitable for a 7 year old to explain weather and seasons etc. Good luck.

i think of your asking the incorrect individual right here, if everybody had concerns approximately my son i might want them to be chatting with me with reference to the project no remember what. I wager her parents have observed those occurances in different environments. that is a scientific concern that the parents are attentive to or perchance blind to. I rapidly think of of autism as this is distinctive in each new child. refer to the parents regardless of each little thing in the experience that your being left with the reponsibility of looking after their new child for a hour your entitled to renowned the entire photograph or advance project approximately unusual behaviour
