Bees have 4 wings and a complex system of muscles in their thorax. The muscles are called indirect flight muscles, these attach to regions on the inside of the exoskeleton at both the top and bottom of the thorax. When these muscles contract, the wings lift, when they relax, the wings descend, thereby making one full wing beat. Doing this repeatedly allows them to fly at high speeds.

Hope this helps!
