We are planning a trip there in a few weeks, and I have read a review that the rooftop pool is very shaded with no sun. I was hoping someone could reply who has been there as I really want a tan and I would rather choose a different hotel if this is correct! Also, any general comments on the hotel will be appreciated - we are booked a 1 bed apartment. Thank you so much!

I haven't stayed in Dusit Hotel Dubai because I live in the UAE. But by going through it's Webpage http://dubai.dusit.com/ iI would not hesitate staying there. It sounds just great and I am quiet sure you will enjoy it.

Knowing the weather in the UAE: 1) you might be glad about any shade you can get and 2) here you also get a sun tan being in the shade. That is even more healthier then burning up. In the shade you can enjoy being at the pool much longer.

You also have the opportunity to go to the beach. Check out Jumairah Beach!

Take care and enjoy your vacation!

Great choice and great service. Hope you have a good time there.

I'd heard that a sun cover was going up, but the last time i saw it, they only had umbrellas. To be honest 45C isn't much fun when the sun goes up, but good luck.

Here's some comparisons if you want to change your booking, but I'd stick with what you've got. Nice place !!

Even if the pool is shaded...You will still find the sun in other places.
Anyway, why would you want a tan? Or is your Avatar misleading?
