I allow my doctor to manipulate my limbs to check for fractures.

then you can figure you've got emotional manipulation.....

cohersive manipulation....

Allowing others to manipulate you can stem from many different reasons, but the main reasons are usually insecurity in specific situations and low self-image. Generally the manipulator has a dominant personality where the manipulated has a submissive one and even these personalities can vary in degree. The role of manipulator v. manipulated can change depending on the situation at hand (if one person is more confident on a particular topic for example) and the prior relationship between the individuals (big brother/sister, an intimidating friend (physically or intellectually). The biggest key to all of this is to realize that nobody controls your life except you (and the government...) and work on boosting your self-esteem.

smtimes u gotta make compromises...though u shuldn't ...but sm situations juzzdemand tht of u...cant help being manipulated!!
