should be the way we view ourselves. But this world we live in has our views warped and twisted. So instead of loving ourselves we end up hating how we look because we dont look like that girl on the front of that magazine.

Beauty is a quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (such as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (such as personality).[1] Said another way, "beauty" is a quality of a person, object, place, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, affirmation, meaning, or goodness. The subjective experience of "beauty" often involves the interpretation of some entity as being in balance and harmony with nature. This leads to powerful feelings of attraction and emotional well-being.

In its most profound sense, beauty may engender a salient experience of positive reflection about the meaning of one's own existence. An "object of beauty" is anything that reveals or resonates with personal meaning. Hence religious and moral teachings often focus on the divinity and virtue of beauty, and to assert natural beauty as an aspect of a spirituality and truth.

Very good question. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure you've heard this before. If you look at what people around you consider beauty you'll find this is a true statement. I myself believe true beauty is not on the outside. It's what's in a persons heart. I've found people that I didn't feel that attracted to but after getting to know them I could see they were very beautiful. I believe everyone is beautiful in there own way. Now when it comes to inanimate objects this statement still holds true. That is why you see such a wide variety of goods on the market. You'll have to judge for yourself what you think is beautiful. From my own experience my ex-wife was very beautiful on the outside. Really something to look at. After 2 years of being with her I'm sorry but I told her she was so ugly on the inside that it made her ugly to me. I didn't even want to be around her anymore. Not saying there wasn't hope for her, there is for everybody. But she was just bitter and spiteful a real turn off. So you see it's what you see in things that make them beautiful. Sorry I know this is probably not what you where looking for but it's what I've found out in my years of living with people.
