I'm not looking for free downloads, it needs to be above board & legal so I need to buy it. I've tried musicbakery.com & truetoneproductions.com but it's all a bit twee! I want REAL music, with lyrics, not someone experimenting on their keyboards at home!

There is a website called Podsafe (or something like that) that has a lot of free-use music on it.

However...

I direct a vocal ensemble, and we have several CDs out. One CD is all music I have written. What sort of song(s) are you looking for? I imagine something pretty, and soothing.

One thing, though: I really hate it when I go to a website and a song starts playing automatically. I always turn it off. I find it distracting. I don't know if many other people feel this same way or not.

My first dance with my husband was to Harry Conrick Jr.'s "It Had to Be You". I liked it because it wasn't sappy sweet, appealled to various age groups, and sounds timeless and upbeat. In fact there's a lot of great songs off the "When Harry Met Sally" cd If you like that kind of music Canadian singer Micheal Buble has a crooners voice with some modern day selections as well. I've always been thinking of doing a photo montogue for my sister's wedding using "I Need You" by Marc Anthony - Not that I'm a fan of his but the song I think is upbeat, romantic, and not over used.. You can also search the top wedding songs on the net for inspiration.
