The Daimler-Chrysler company has factories in more than one German city, in Austria and in the USA. The main car-making factories for the Mercedes-Benz brand seem to be in Stuttgart and that appears to be the company headquarters. I think most of their trucks are made outside Stuttgart and the G-Wagen is made in Austria, while the ML is built in the USA. Their Chrysler models seem to be from Detroit, USA, while their Mitsubishi cars are built in Japan and Australia and perhaps elsewhere. There is an association of some kind with SsangYong in Sth. Korea too.
At one time some of their M-B engines were made in Holland, maybe they still are.
They have websites for most of the countries they sell cars in.
