I've been married 26 years and cannot imagine life without my spouse. I don't know how on earth I would make it through something like that but I know I would for my children. I think now I wouldn't remarry, but I would really miss someone to hold hands with, snuggle with, laugh with... I don't know what I would do. Time would tell.

Now if my husband dies i do not think i will ever want to remarry, I love him so much and i dont think i could find anyone even close to what he is and how he treats and loves me and my kids. I sure would be broken hearted and lonely at times BUT i would try to do fun things to keep my mind off things. I might date here and there but that would be it. I feel that i would stay a widow and always view him as my husband even after he is gone.

It will depend on many things including my age and my health at the time. I love my husband but if he dies and I am in good health, I am likely to remarry. No other man can replace him but I would not want to be alone forever either.

Depends on my age at the time. I would hope I re-married if I ever lost my spouse. No one wants to be alone forever.
