Im a drummer, not that I need the extra attention, but I seem to often get ignored in the crowd.... My guitarist gets all the fun! lol

Yeah people notice the drummer I tend to watch each musician equally.

I usually seek out drummers live at shows and on TV and it really sucks that most video's produced barely skim past them. I have a thing for guys arms and drummers usually have the best. They aren't as skinny as guitarists.

I think most people only notice the drummer when they're either super flamboyant or terrible at drums. Everyone in the room can tell when the drummer sucks. So, I guess you must be pretty good :) and fairly mellow as far as stage presence goes.

Ha look at mike portnoy. He is more active then anyone in dream theater! He gets crap loads of attention.
I had a drummer at one point that would jump around and do funny stuff everyone LOVED HIM!
If you want attention. then act on it and give them a show. (trust me. no one would be looking at your guitarists if they where just standing playing and not doing anything... well its 3:40 am and i dont know what i just said to you. good night

And the one-armed Def Leppard drummer got noticed too...I guess if you want to keep both arms you'll have to follow Tommy Lee's lead though ;)

Start drumming naked go nuts do something to stand out people cant see you too well behind the drum set

Flair and exaggerate your moves (ie: twirling the stick when only on the kick drum)
