Any couriers out there earning a decent wage? can you give any tips/advice? any websites with good info on best ways to earn as a courier, as i hear that some ppl have given up this type of work due to poor wages, yet others say they earn very nicely and wish they'd started years ago! So I'm thinking, what makes the difference between an unsuccessful courier and a successful one. what are the poor earners doing wrong and what exactly are the successful ones doing or have done right?

When I did it I earned pretty good money - but I also got a lot of tips, good tips every day. Always be smiling, be friendly, be helpful even if it's not your job.
Have a plan too - it's important you don't keep going back on your rounds, build relationships with other drivers too - you can rely on each other during sickness or whatever.
