overused, and dwarves for the same reasons. So, I have created an all new race and would like your opinion about it. The name of my race is the Electi, and their country is named Electa. Their language is pretty much Latin and they are a very peaceful, moral people as a whole. Their government is, in a nutshell, a combination of a republic and a monarchy. There is a council of people-elected men and women that speak on behalf of the people. This council also acts as a group of advisors for the monarch. The monarch takes heed the words of the advisors, but he has the final decision in any matter that affects the country. They have no class system, other than the difference between royalty and commoner. Their appearence is, on average, 6 feet with blue hair and red eyes. They live to be around 200 years old, and are much more physically capable than humans. They are a dying race, and most of those alive are slaves to humans. They find honor extremely important. There is no room left now

Sorry, didn't see this option before. They are also intelligent, and are slaves becuase of a lack in numbers against humans, who have a huge prejudice against them. They are indigenous to the land in which they live and were there centuries before humans arrived, who proceded to reproduce like rabbits. The humans forced the Electi into their country, for they had no need for a country because they owned the land. This is how they name Electa came along. Eventually, the humans separated into those who believed that the Electi should be destroyed moving to the south and those that thought they should be left alone staying in the north, each forming their own countries (so far named Feall for the haters and Cial for the others.) Feall proceded to start an unofficial genocide against the Eleceti. Eventually, those surviving were united by Heulyn Aidinmack (the language is Latin, but the names are Celtic-ish). After years of toil, Heulyn finally beat back the humans and formed the

curent form of government. He created a peace treaty with Feall, and his daughter continued that treaty. Her son, Brenin, was crowned the day of the beginning of the End War, as the Feallians called it. With extremely superior numbers, the Feallians broke through the borders and decimated anything and everything in their path. In less than a year, the Electi were virtually destroyed. The Council urged Brenin to go into hiding, which he did. So far, a small group of free Electi are freeing their brethren, who are slaves to the king, dukes, and other forms of nobility in Feall. Brenin is still missing, and presumed dead.
So that's what I've got so far. Please, leave your opinion and suggestions. Both are highly appreciated.

Just to clarify, they are humanoids. No horns, hooves, wings. They are stronger, faster, smarter "humans" with blue hair and red eyes.

Also, they are monotheistic (This is the best term for it.) They "worship" a hero who saved the race long ago (well over a millenia before the arrival of the humans) who is known only as Vivian. I won't reveal how she saved the Electi or who she saved them from because it is a critical point in the story. On a legal note, I have never read, nor even heard of "Utopia" by Sir Thomas More until it was saidas one of the answers.
