Best Audio Laptop?

My budget is about $1500 or under, what is the best laptop to get for audio production (ableton live, etc.)? I will go PC or Mac.

I feel DELL Inspiron E1405 with WndowsXP media center edition
is good for Audio.

My friend had an HP laptop, which had exceptional audio quality.

The dv8000, I think. I'm not sure.
