why do new timepieces always set their display time at 10:10?

10:10 is the ideal number because 10:10 has almost perfect symetry and is not with too large or small of an angle.

i think it was the time when the first clock was first invented the time pieces was set like that that is the reason they are like that.

there is name of watch on the clock dial that should be visible and it gives clock a smiling face also.
