I think it would have to be American Beauty for me. While I would usually pick out a live set when I'm in the mood for some Dead, AB is my favorite studio album. Every song is a classic and the singing is fantastic.

i like the older dead music.My favorite is europe 72.as far as a studio album i would say working mans' dead.i could listen to 'dire wolf' all day.
